What was your favorite game of the season?
The 1st game against FC Bickley was an amazing game. At that point of the season they were in powerhouse mode and were steaming teams. Some of our best players struggled to get hold of the game and Bickley steamrolled us 3-0 up until half time. At half time I demanded character from the boys and wanted to see if we really were worthy. The second half we managed to get back 3 goals and then go into extra time and take the win. It was one of my best feelings on football as I felt like everything we had worked on had come together and everyone showed amazing character.
Who were the best opposition you played against?
It would be easy for me to say ability wise that Kenningwell were the best team but I’m going to opt for Mildean. Mildean managed to do to us what we had done to many teams over the season such as out battle us then play good football not giving us a chance to get back in the team.
Which opposition player stood out for you most this season?
This would have to go to Mildean’s number 9.In the 1st game he was a nuisance but in the 2nd game despite us winning 6-3 he grabbed a hat trick of classy problematic goals.
Vista currently has the secret to success, what makes Vista a winning team?
The secret to our success is the selflessness of players and the team unity. Our bond go’s beyond football so you often see us celebrating as a unit and/or going that extra mile for each other on the pitch.7 days a week the whole squad stay in contact via whatsapp and train together once a week and also after games on the weekend we often go out together. Football is one platform but our friendship gives us the edge against most teams.
